About the Role OpenLoop is hiring a Patient Support Specialist to join our remote team. In this role, you'll deliver high-quality, empathetic support to patients while quickly becoming a subject matter expert across patient care functions. You'll identify gaps in care, propose improvements, and ensure a seamless experience tailored to each client's needs. Success in this position requires strong communication skills, proficiency with multiple software platforms, and a deep understanding of the healthcare landscape. What You'll Do Become a subject matter expert across multiple patient support functions, processes, and client programs. Identify and escalate gaps in patient care or service delivery to ensure timely resolution and improved outcomes. Utilize various software platforms and tools to document, track, and resolve patient inquiries. Provide professional, compassionate, and high-quality support to patients via phone, email, chat, or other communication channels. Understand and adapt to the unique workflows and care models of each healthcare client. Collaborate with internal teams (clinical, operational, and technical) to improve processes and enhance the patient experience. Maintain a high level of professionalism and empathy during all patient interactions. Adhere to HIPAA and other healthcare compliance standards. Other duties as assigned. Who You Are 2+ years of experience in a patient-facing or healthcare support role. Strong understanding of healthcare services, terminology, and patient care coordination. Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a focus on active listening and empathy. Comfortable using and learning multiple software tools and systems. Proven ability to identify process gaps and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives. Strong organizational and time management skills in a fast-paced environment. Remote Salary Range
