Join this team if you're committed to making each human interaction amazing for our customers. **Description** From brainstorming through launch, the UX Writer will work closely with the Product, Design, and Marketing teams, as well as with Engineering, Legal, and QA. You have the ability to distill complex ideas into clear, human-centered language that elevates the user experience. The UX Writer is an exceptional communicator, editor, and collaborator, with strong organizational skills and a sharp eye for detail. The UX Writer will play a key role in shaping the voice and clarity of Apple's wallet, payments, and commerce experiences. We are looking for a visionary writer who is ready and capable of helping redefine the future of the physical wallet. **Minimum Qualifications** + 6+ years of professional UX writing experience. + Proven ability to create concise, user-focused content across a range of surfaces, including onboarding flows, in-app education, permission dialogs, and legal disclosures. + Strong ability to advocate for users through thoughtful, intuitive language while balancing business and regulatory needs. + Strong ability to differentiate interactions that require user guidance from those that do not. + Enthusiasm for an iterative writing process, incorporating feedback from cross-functional teams and senior leadership. + Dedication to understand and evolve current writing and style standards. + Ability to present and defend writing choices clearly in large forums, including executive reviews. + Expertise working with design and product documentation, including wireframes, functional specs, and familiarity with design tools like Sketch. + A meticulous attention to detail. **Preferred Qualifications** + Deep curiosity about user behavior and an eagerness to influence product direction through language. + Familiarity with digital wallets, payments, and commerce systems, along with the regulatory and industry landscape. + An understanding of industry standards paired with a strong sense of Apple's design and editorial standards. + Passion for Apple, its products, and its customers. **Pay & Benefits** At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $175,800 and $312,200, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location. Apple employees also have the opportunity to become an Apple shareholder through participation in Apple's discretionary employee stock programs. Apple employees are eligible for discretionary restricted stock unit awards, and can purchase Apple stock at a discount if voluntarily participating in Apple's Employee Stock Purchase Plan.
