Description We are seeking a Licensed Home Inspector in Virginia, Maryland, or Washington D.C. to conduct home inspections across the DMV area. The ideal candidate will be detail-driven, a strong communicator, an active listener, and someone who enjoys working independently but also values being part of a supportive team. You should be open to growth and change and ready to adapt to the evolving home inspection industry.

Responsibilities •Perform complete and thorough home inspections in accordance with state regulations and industry standards
•Effectively communicate findings to realtors and clients, providing clear and actionable advice
•Utilize inspection software and technology for efficient report completion while on-site
•Maintain a flexible schedule, including working weekends (possibly 1-2 weekends per month)
•Handle challenging or delicate situations with professionalism and expertise
•Ensure smooth operations by completing necessary administrative tasks and reporting findings promptly

Physical Requirements: •Ability to enter homes with allergens, including pets, dust, and mold
•Must be able to carry and use ladders, and navigate confined spaces such as attics and crawl spaces
•Physical ability to stand for long periods, kneel, squat, bend, climb stairs and ladders, and lift over 50 lbs.
Home Inspector Requirements: •Valid Virginia or Maryland Home Inspector's License (Required)
•Valid State Driver's License (Required)
•Strong interpersonal skills and professional presence
•Detail-oriented, organized, and a self-starter
•Ability to multitask and manage your schedule effectively
•Proficient computer skills, with the ability to learn and use inspection software and tools
Preferred Qualifications: •Background in Construction, HVAC, Plumbing, and/or Electrical
•Bilingual (a plus) Lambert Home Inspections
