Job Description Summary At Advanced Accelerator Applications, a Novartis company, we are committed to leading innovation in nuclear medicine and delivering the next generation of targeted radioligand therapy to cancer patients. We are looking for an experienced pharmaceutical leader to help us reach our ambitious goals. The Manufacturing Head is responsible for leading a manufacturing facility in achieving objectives in Safety, Supply, Cost, Quality, and People for a GMP Radioligand Therapies Production Site. The leader translates Novartis Manufacturing and Supply strategies into actionable plans, including capital projects, operational improvements, and resource management to ensure CGMP compliance, quality, and staff development. Key Responsibilities: Manage Production, HSE, Engineering, Supply Chain, and Manufacturing Science & Technology activities. Lead the site leadership team, monitor performance, and drive cross-site collaboration. Ensure compliance with cGMP, safety, and other regulations. Coordinate planning to meet manufacturing goals efficiently. Develop processes and procedures across sites, addressing specific needs. Establish production and quality standards with relevant leaders. Communicate and implement the site strategic plan. Provide leadership, mentorship, and development opportunities for staff. Ensure compliance with policies and safety regulations through regular meetings. Foster a respectful and supportive work environment. Essential Requirements: BSc in chemical engineering, chemistry, pharmacy, or related field, or equivalent experience. At least 10 years in the pharmaceutical industry, with 5 years in leadership roles, including sterile manufacturing. Strategic thinking and enterprise focus. Experience working in a matrix organization. Ability to analyze data and communicate outcomes effectively. Deep understanding of cGMPs. Ability to prioritize and work under pressure. Effective communication skills to inspire teams. Desirable Requirements: Training in radiochemistry or radiopharmaceuticals. Additional Information: #LI-Onsite Benefits include a comprehensive package detailed in our handbook, with a salary range of $152,600 to $283,400, subject to adjustments based on market and individual factors.
