Job Summary
As a Psychotherapist, you will play a pivotal role in supporting the mental health and well-being of our patients. You will combine therapeutic services with administrative responsibilities to make a meaningful impact on patient care and satisfaction. Your expertise will help ensure a comprehensive approach to healthcare, fostering a positive environment for both patients and colleagues.
Duties and Responsibilities
Conduct thorough evaluations of patients, gathering insights through interviews with patients, families, and other key individuals involved in their care.
Develop personalized treatment plans based on each patient's specific emotional, social, cognitive, developmental, or behavioral needs.
Collaborate with an in-house Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner for medication management consultations as needed.
Provide crisis intervention support to ensure patient safety and well-being during critical situations.
Accurately maintain patient and clinical records, including details of treatments and medications administered.
Engage in continuous learning activities to stay current with professional practices, including reading relevant publications, attending educational conferences, and networking with peers.
Adhere to ethical standards and legal policies in all areas of work.
Conduct both virtual and in-person visits to meet the evolving needs of patients.
Skills and Qualifications
Master's or Doctorate degree in a mental health field (e.g., social work, counseling, marriage and family therapy, or mental health counseling).
Completion of all required training for state registration, including BLS, ACLS, and Infection Control Training.
Strong understanding of HIPAA compliance and at least one year of experience as a Licensed Therapist.
Preferably licensed in your field to provide counseling (e.g., LCSW, LPC, LMFT, LMHC).
Additional certifications, such as ABA, DBT, CBT, or EMDR, are a plus but not required.
Experience with electronic medical records (EMR) systems is preferred.
Bilingual in Spanish and English is a plus.
Excellent teamwork skills, with the ability to communicate clearly and collaborate effectively across disciplines.
