The Environmental Health, Safety & Security Manager works closely with DC Leadership to reduce risk, prevent injuries to employees and contractors, protect people, property, and assets while minimizing impact to the business. Ensures compliance to all applicable local, state, and federal regulations, and conformance to McKesson EHS & Global Security performance and accountability standards. Coordinates with other departments to integrate safety and security into all aspects of operations. Key Responsibilities include serving as the primary liaison between the site and the Global Security & Safety team, providing guidance and oversight to ensure compliance with McKesson Global Security & Safety policies, leading initiatives to implement and enforce environmental, health, safety, and security protocols, developing risk assessments and mitigation plans, measuring site’s Safety Performance Index, driving safety and security culture through audits and committees, serving as site Ergonomics Champion, designing and tracking Safety and Security Action Plans, leading compliance with physical and electronic security systems, conducting safety and security training, engaging with environmental, health, safety and security initiatives, attending leadership meetings, partnering with Risk Management on claims and Return to Work processes, leading environmental compliance related to Hazardous & Regulated Waste management, supporting DSCSA & Quality research on product loss or theft, and liaising with local emergency management groups. Minimum qualifications include a degree or equivalent with 4+ years of relevant experience, experience with compliance monitoring (OSHA, EPA, DOT, FDA, DEA), strong communication skills, knowledge of physical & electronic security equipment, ability to manage multiple tasks under pressure, leadership skills, incident investigation experience, intermediate computer skills, self-motivation, project management and analytical skills, and ability to work collaboratively with diverse stakeholders. Certifications preferred include PSP, CSP, ARM, APP or CHMM. The role involves limited travel and working in office and warehouse environments.
