Job Summary:
We are seeking Commercial vehicle Drivers to deliver various grades of gasoline to local business fleets, establishments with generators and other equipment, Marinas to fill boats, and residential customers. This is an evening/night shift position. All routes are local. Drivers never go further than 100 miles from the truck facility. New Drivers earn $25 per hour for the first 90 days and an increase to $26 at 90 days or the end of the probationary period. Drivers also earn a quarterly incentive bonus based on the number of gallons they deliver, as well as customer tips. Benefits include medical insurance for the Driver and qualified dependents with coverage effective at 30 days of employment, 401K with a matching contribution up to 4%, PTO time accrual beginning at 90 days, and Uniform reimbursement for Drivers.

Job Duties:
The duties and responsibilities of the Driver position included but are not limited to:

• Drive company-owned commercial vehicles with various grades of gasoline.
• Directly pump gas from the tanker to the customer vehicle/asset.
• Ensure safety and the best practices are always followed.
• Maintain regular communication with logistics.
• Follows all route guidance.
• Completes required safety pre and post-inspections.
• Utilize company technology to accurately manage fuel inventory and customer delivery requirements.
• Complies with all state and local DOT laws.
• Fills tankers with needed fuel for delivery.
• Other duties as assigned.

Job requirements:

• Valid Florida commercial license
• Minimum 2 years of commercial driving experience.
• Hazmat and tanker endorsements for at least 1 year.
• Preference for candidates who have completed a formal driver training program or attended driver training school.
• No major violations (reckless driving, fleeing the scene, accident resulting in serious injury or death, speeds greater than 20 mph in a given zone, drug or alcohol related).
• Pass background checks including Motor vehicle report review.
• Clear a pre-employment drug screening.
• Team players demonstrate flexibility
• No more than 2 moving violations in the prior 3 years.
• Provide excellent customer service.
• Some weekend availability
• Must be able to work the evening/night shift.

Physical requirements:

• Must be able to get in and out of the truck multiple times per shift.
• Must be able to carry hoses weighing up to 50 pounds.
• Must be able to climb ladders.
